# Privacy & Analytics

Capiaro is educational dividend analytics software. It is not a broker and does not request or store brokerage passwords or credentials.

## Information we collect

- Account email and authentication information
- Portfolio information you enter or choose to save, including holdings, transactions, goals, and creator settings
- Waitlist details: email, product interest, dividend-holding status, CSV-import willingness, optional creator audience size, source, marketing-consent status, and unsubscribe status
- Sheets requests: API key, ticker symbols, share counts, and quota usage
- Billing identifiers and subscription status; Stripe processes payment-card details

## Analytics, cookies, and local storage

Capiaro can use Vercel Web Analytics for aggregate traffic measurement after you accept analytics, and only if your browser is not sending Global Privacy Control (GPC) or Do Not Track. Necessary-only mode does not send those events. It does not use advertising cookies or track visitors across websites. Query strings are removed, and creator public-card and embed paths are generalized before analytics events are sent.

A GPC signal is honored automatically as an analytics opt-out (the California CCPA/CPRA opt-out preference signal). Do Not Track is honored as a courtesy. Capiaro does not sell or share personal information for ads.

Capiaro uses necessary authentication cookies and local browser storage to keep users signed in, save a workspace, and remember your cookie choice. These are functional mechanisms, not advertising cookies. You can change the analytics choice from Cookie settings in the footer.

## Email choices

The waitlist includes an optional, unchecked checkbox for early-access and product updates. Capiaro records the consent date, source, and notice version. You can unsubscribe at any time; a service confirmation is not a marketing subscription.

## Service providers

Depending on the features used, Capiaro uses Vercel, Supabase, Stripe, Resend, Google, EODHD, and Financial Modeling Prep. An AI explanation is user-initiated and sends a computed portfolio fact packet to the configured provider through Vercel AI Gateway.

## Public cards

Creators choose which fields on a public card are visible. Creator analytics record page views, embed loads, and CTA clicks without viewer portfolio or financial data.
